RMHC African American Future Achievers Scholarship

If you like McDonalds...You're really going to like their Scholarships!

Amount: Minimum of $1,000

Eligibility: Currently enrolled high school seniors who have at least one parent of African American or Black Caribbean heritage and who are eligible to attend an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school with a complete course of study. Applicants must be legal U.S. residents, be less than 21 years of age, have a minimum 2.7 GPA and reside within the geographic boundaries of a participating Chapter that offers a scholarship under the RMHC/African American Future Achievers Scholarship program (Alameda County residents are eligible). Applicants may apply for only one RMHC scholarship program.

HOW TO APPLY:

Beginning October 1, 2014, students may apply online. Graduating high school seniors may only apply for one of the four scholarships. The deadline for the 2014 academic year is January 20, 2015, and all mailed back-up documents must be postmarked by the same date. Applicants will be notified of scholarship award status by June 30, 2015.
