Oakland Dollars for Scholars

This is a great LOCAL scholarship to add onto your calendar Seniors!

Oakland Dollars for Scholars grants students up to $1,000 per year for 4 years.

Who is eligible?

You are eligible if you are a graduating senior in a high school located in the city of Oakland, 
California. Further scholarship requirements include a minimum 2.5 GPA and a valid application 
submitted by the deadline. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and funds
availability.

Grants for the first year are paid at the beginning of the school year with proof of college
enrollment. If awarded a multi-year scholarship, grants for years two through four are contingent 
on further requirements as described in the application form, subject to funds availability.

The application for this scholarship should open around January 15 with a tentative deadline of March 15.
