Engineering Opportunities at Santa Clara University




Are you interested in Engineering? Here's an amazing opportunity for you!

Spring Engineering Education Days (SEEDs): The 2015 SEEDs program is looking for 10th and 11th grade students with an interest in exploring engineering topics during April. Selected participants come to Santa Clara University over the course of three Saturdays (April 4, 18, 25) from 10 am to 3 pm and participate in workshops spanning the following engineering areas: Bio, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical and Web Design. Workshops are presented in a typical university format, with a mix of lecture and interactive experiences. Free Program and lunch, but you DO have to get yourself there! To apply for the program, students must complete an online application and have a teacher complete an online recommendation form by February 5, 2015.

Summer Engineering Seminar (SES): Summer Engineering Seminar (SES): The SES program is an outstanding, five-day experience in late July/early August offering specially designed workshops covering different fields of engineering. The SES program also provides students with a taste of university life, as they stay in university residence halls for the duration of the program, eat meals on campus and at neighboring dining facilities, and take part in afternoon recreational activities and evening projects. Program is FREE but you DO need to get yourself to and from the University. To apply for the program, students must complete an online application and have a teacher complete an online recommendation form by March 12, 2015.
