The Bay Area Institute:
CLYLP is proud to expand its programming this summer to the Bay Area by hosting the Second Annual Bay Area Institute! Similar to our other regional institutes, the Bay Area Institute is designed to inspire and motivate students to become the future leaders of the Bay Area Chicano/Latino community through public service.  Open to 30 students from the greater Bay region,  the three-day institute will offer an impactful program designed to develop students’ leadership potential and increase their knowledge of the region’s cultural, political, and rich history. Institute participants will network with education, business, political and community leaders, and receive encouragement in their pursuit of post-secondary academic opportunities. Housing, meals and program materials are provided at no cost to the participants or their families.
