The Achievement Award Program

Since 1999, The Achievement Award Program (TAAP) has provided low-income students with the resources needed to attend and excel at UC Berkeley. TAAP serves high-achieving, community-minded students from the moment they choose UC Berkeley through their undergraduate career, providing both financial assistance and supportive programming.

Eligibility Requirements

Student status	Requirements
Incoming Freshman	Gross family income of $86,000 or less California residents, including those defined by the AB 540 guidelines Submit a UC Berkeley application for Fall 2014/Spring 2015 enrollment Submit a Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) to UC Berkeley by May 1, 2014
