The Urban Peace Movement’s Peace Ambassadors Program is looking for interns!!
Are you looking to:
- LEARN ABOUT COMMUNITY ORGANIZING?
Through this internship students will allow you to:
- LEARN ABOUT HOW TO BUILD PEACE IN YOUR SCHOOL & COMMUNITY
- LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF AND OAKLAND – YOUR CITY!!
- HELP ORGANIZE A “SILENCE THE VIOLENCE DAY” AT YOUR SCHOOL
- GET TO PARTICIPATE IN EXCITING EVENTS WITH 106 KMEL!
This internship goes for 8 months, starting in September until June AND requires you to attend meetings once a week and weekend activities as they come up.
